Snowmobiling:

Island Park is located in Fremont County, Idaho. The county has 500 miles of snowmobile trails. These trails not only connect to the local businesses and scenic attractions like Mesa Falls and Two Top mountain, they also connect to trails that lead into West Yellowstone, Montana.

Wildlife Viewing:

The Henry’s Fork of the Snake River, near the south end of Island Park, is the winter home for many ducks, geese, and Trumpeter Swans. The majestic Trumpeters migrate here in November or December and usually head north in March or April. Moose may also be seen in the river, as they often feed on plants that grow on the bottom of the river.
